Which list is longer, your prayer requests, or your praise reports?

For many of us, it would be our prayer requests. It is our human nature to focus on the things that we perceive that we lack rather than on the abundance that we already have. Now, this is not to say that your prayer requests are invalid. They are very valid. However, it does mean that our attention can be lopsided, which puts us at risk of missing our blessings and ultimately sharing our praise reports.

For this reason, I dedicate the end of every month as a time to pause and reflect. I go through my journal entries to review my prayer requests. And then, for each request, I write down the answer that I believe that I received or if I am still waiting on clarity. And yes, I am weird, so I write my answers in red ink!

I know that sounds crazy!

But it is so important because these are my praise reports, and I want them to stand out. I want to be able to grab my prayer journal, flip through the pages and immediately see red ink everywhere as a reminder of all of the praise reports that I have. And then my attention will not be so lopsided because I have proof that if Yah did it before, He would do it again!

So, today take a walk down memory lane over the past month and start praising Yah for what He has already done! HalleluYAH!

Be blessed and stay faithful no matter what!
